Hello Donna, you did a fabulous job making some
tassels
for me around Christmas 2006 for my fiancé. I have a new order I would like to send you for my horse as well as a friend of ours would like to have some made as well. There have also been a few other people who board their horses at the same facility we keep ours at that have expressed an interest in having the same thing done and are very enthused with the finished product they have already seen. I don't want to overwhelm you but I was wondering if it would be possible to send you a group order and include everyone who would like to have these special gifts made. Please let me know what would work best for you. At this time I don't know exactly how many people would want to be included but I will try to get a total count by the beginning of next week (3/24 or so). Yes I received the order and even gave the wonderful (horsehair) items to my friend just before I left. She loved them. I thought they turned out GREAT!!!!
And thank you for my little gift too. I wish I had known about you when I had to put my horse down 2 years ago, he had very thick black mane and tail that would have looked wonderful with the bracelet.

My bracelet was chewed on by my shih tzu puppy who jumped up on the kitchen chair and snatched it from the table. It has some frays on the very end. I hope it will hold up otherwise I will be sending it and more hair to you!

My friend Jamie's horse's name is Sammi. She's had Sammi since Sammi was a little baby. She's the biggest horse in the barn now and we still call her "little Sammi". Sammi does have a thick wavy luxurious tail. Sammi by the way is a Canadian Horse and she's my horse's half sister. They share the same dam.
Jamie's birthday isn't until October and it's going to be very hard for me to keep these for her until then. She's going to be thrilled. She just adores her Sammi. These will be very special to her I'm sure!

Hi Donna, In 2004 I had you make me a hatband for my friend who was badly injured in a 4 wheeler accident.
He is a quadriplegic now and misses riding and all of the other activities he used to enjoy. I just wanted to let you
know it was a very beautiful hatband and much appreciated by him to still have a part of the horses he loves near to him.

watch band. It looks very good with the watch. We are both

keychain. The bracelet will look good with everything I own...it is "my
style." I am crazy about it. And Jim has many uses for the key

Donna, when I emailed you about receiving the (horsehair
art) products, I had not yet read the letter...just looked at the wonderful workmanship and wanted you to know that they had arrived...
Well, in reading the letter, I find that you've given me the extra
keychains and so I want to thank you even more.
Also, the directions you've given about securing the hatbands with fishing line are perfect...I would NOT want these precious items to blow off the hat!

Donna.........Got the package in the mail the other day.
Now I don't want to give the hatbands to the neighbor gals, I want to keep'em all to myself.
Only problem is, I don't have enough hats!!! Seriously, the goodies look really nice, I don't see how you could make a living making those things at
$30.00US each. Maybe I'll start plucking some tail hair off my own horse, Snip, and get me a
hatband made. I could hack it off halfway up from the ground and tell everybody he's a mule.
No, I won't do that, but I can definitely see doing some more horsehair stuff in the future.

You, my dear, are a very talented woman. The bracelet arrived this
afternoon and you couldn't have hit my taste and style more if you had known me for twenty years.
The bracelet is just perfect. You really got the feeling of how "Goldie" fits in. He is the middle horse, and the arrowhead highlights are just beautiful.
I went out to the barn and showed it to all of them.
It was also so sweet of you to make me the zipper pull as well, and I am really so pleased with it.
You know, it would also look wonderful as a headstall decoration for one of the horses.
I very much appreciated your interest, the time you took to reply and even send me such a lovely letter with the
bracelet, and, of course, the finished product which I shall treasure not only for sentimental reasons but also because it is truly beautiful.

Donna, got the package on Saturday.
Someone, maybe the post office, cut a giant slit in the envelope that the
(horsehair) pieces were in. Luckily they did not cut any of the horsehair items!!
Everything is perfect. I love the bracelet with the turquoise stones on
the sides. It really makes it special. The key fob and
zipper pull are very cool. The necklace is interesting.
I may not wear it but I do have it hanging, with the last tassel, around the rear view mirror in my truck.
It is great to know JR is with me everywhere I go.
Thank you again for completing this project for me. You have made this a very special experience for me.
Please be aware that all my barn friends are now harvesting hair from their horses tails so they too can have
keepsakes like the ones you created for me.
Hopefully in about 3-4 months I will have enough hair saved from my new horse, Garth, (I save all the hair from brushing his tail) to make
another bracelet. He has a longer tail than JR did so it will be longer.

Donna, the tassels arrived and then my computer wouldn't connect to the internet....so I haven't been able to tell you how beautiful the
tassels are!!!!!! What absolutely outstanding workmanship .........they
are just perfect. Thank you so very much. My husband is the one that loves
purple and wants to make purple work on the horse, even though, I think the
red is much flashier. He thinks the purple ones could stand to be more
predominantly purple........so, as we get this whole decorating thing decided, we may need a few more
tassels made, we'll see how it all works out.
I'm so glad that we have made contact with you and that we know who the expert is on making
tassels........wow........there will be eyes turning when Truly is all decked out in her decorations.

Hi Donna. I received my beautiful items on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
Everything was wonderful. You are very gifted. I attached Ryder's to his coat for now and we went to a benefit supper on Friday night.
He told everyone that it was Buddy. It brought a tear to my eye, because reality set in knowing that Buddy was never coming home.
In Ryder's words, it's "Buddy died died." It's amazing how a 22 month old can figure out life and death.
