Ordering Details & Options:

A. Order On-line:  Very simple and easy.  Click here to get to our 'on-line' order formJust fill out the form and click the 'Submit' button - your order will be automatically sent to us (you will not be sending us any credit card information on this form - see below on how to get us your credit card information).  After clicking on the 'Submit' button, you should be transferred to our 'Order On-line Confirmation' page, which confirms that your order has been sent to us.

When paying by credit card,  please FOLLOW UP your on-line order with a telephone call to us (click here for our telephone numbers - toll free in USA and Canada) to get us JUST your credit card information and SSN / EIN information (where applicable - please click here for details) BUT please order on-line FIRST.  Your order cannot be processed until we receive your credit card information.

Note: We will only take your name, credit card details, SSN / EIN info (where applicable - please click here for details) and telephone number over the phone - we CANNOT take entire orders over the phone (please see the details of our Order by Phone option details).

If you get our 'voice mail', please leave your credit card information (type of card, card number, SID# (Security ID number), expiry date, your name EXACTLY as it appears on the card), your SSN / EIN (where applicable - please click here for details) AND your telephone number (just in case we need to contact you by telephone) on a message.  The messages are password protected so your credit card & SSN / EIN information is safe.  By leaving your credit card information on the message, we will not have to try and call you back to get the details.  This saves us both from the 'not so fun' game of 'telephone tag'.  We only process your credit card when we actually are ready to ship your order.  You will not see any charges from us until your order is ready to ship.

Due to current credit card regulations, we CANNOT accept your credit card information via E-MAIL!  You must telephone or fax your credit card information in to us!

Please make sure you have checked with your credit card company to assure that your transaction will proceed properly: sometimes the credit card companies put 'blocks' or 'holds' on cards, for transactions from out of country, for transactions over a certain amount, or for transactions from internet companies.  If you can check, ahead of time, to make sure these 'blocks' or 'holds' have been removed, it will speed up the entire order fulfillment process: we won't have to call you back saying your credit card has been declined.

Credit Card: For payment by credit card, we accept: VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.  When paying by credit card, we need:
    1. your credit card Type (e.g. Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
    2. your credit card Account Number
    3. your credit card SID# (Security Identification number - VISA & MasterCard: found on back of card (3 digits), shown right after your Account Number; American Express: found on front of card (4 digits).  This number proves you have your credit card in hand)
    4. your credit card Expiration Date
    5. your Name (EXACTLY as it appears on the credit card)

How do I submit my Credit Card information?
Due to current credit card regulations, we can only accept your credit card information by TELEPHONE, FAX (use our convenient 'Credit card by fax' form), or by POSTAL MAIL.  Please DO NOT 'E-MAIL' us your credit card information!  Due to fraudulent precedents, we reserve the right to refuse acceptance of any credit card we feel may not be valid or used in accordance with the law.  We will co-operate with all authorities to track down any fraudulent use of credit cards.

 
When can I expect a charge on my credit card?
CanadianMoose.com is a Canadian company and our invoices are processed in Canadian Dollars (CDN$).  We will only process your credit card when we are about to SHIP your order.  The only exception to this is if you have placed a 'custom-built' order (an item that we make especially for you).  In this case, we will process a 'deposit' fee on your credit card, as soon as you place your order - the remainder will be charged to your card upon shipment of the item to you.  For credit card purchases from countries other than Canada, your credit card company will calculate the foreign exchange rate automatically for you (to the currency of the country of origin - e.g. USA).  Sorry but we have no control over these rates.

We've had some confusion with the meaning of 'Bill To' address vs. 'Ship To' address.  The following definitions are used within our CanadianMoose.com site and will hopefully eliminate that confusion:


'Bill To' address (same as 'Purchaser Information')
A 'Bill To' address is the address to where the CanadianMoose.com 'bills' (paperwork: Invoices, etc.) are sent.  If no 'Ship To' address has been specified (or if the 'Ship To' address has been specified but it is the same as the 'Bill To' address), then this 'Bill To' address is also where the products will be sent.  Note: the 'Bill To' address signifies where you want the CanadianMoose.com paperwork to be sent to.  Note: for security purposes and to reduce fraudulent use of credit cards, the 'Bill To' address should be the same address as where your credit card statements are sent (from your credit card company/bank).


'Ship To' address
A 'Ship To' address is only used when the products are to be sent to one address and the 'bills' are to be sent to a different address (see 'Bill To' address, above).  An example of this is when you send a gift to a friend - you don't want the friend to see the paperwork, etc., so the products are sent to 'Ship To' address and the bills are sent (to you) at the 'Bill To' address.  If both the bills and the products are to be sent to the same address (eg. to you), then please only fill in the 'Bill To' address fields.  If you are having your order sent to a 'Ship To' address, you should register this 'Ship To' address with your credit card company/bank as an 'alternate' address, as CanadianMoose.com will check (with the credit card companies) for the validity of this 'Ship To' address.  CanadianMoose.com is doing all we can to protect you against credit card fraud.


Promotions
From time to time, we will be running special promotions.  To take advantage of these promotions, just quote the specified "Promotion #" in the "Promotion #" box on the 'on-line' order form.  You will receive the specified discount % on Product total only (see Order Example above, for details).
